Meet the Jury

The jury is made up of more than 50 world class creatives who are active in their communities. It is important that each category has a jury who are diverse in background, mentality, approach and opinion.

If the jury encounters projects outside their field of knowledge, we will bring in specialist additional jury members as needed. Each jury member will also have the privilege of recognising 1x outstanding project from the creative world that has not been officially entered.

Freddy is a Creative Director at Wieden+Kennedy. He Joined the London office in 2015 after working in a church in Amsterdam. Together with his creative partner Philippa Beaumont, he’s been responsible for some of WK’s most meme’d work, won awards at every major advertising award show, had his work featured on the front and back of every National newspaper, made a tv show that aired on Channel 4 and had his work worn by the Mayor of London.

Atiya Zaidi

Atiya is a creative who loves to create. She has over 20 years of experience in the advertising industry working on an array of local and international brands. She is the first Pakistani woman to be selected for Cannes Lions See it Be it program, D&AD’s Rare creative program and also the Pitch magazines’ 100 Superwomen list 2019. She also wrote a film which is available on Netflix.

Abdo Mohamed, Leo Burnett

Abdelrahman Gad, commonly known as Abdo Mohamed, is an awarded design director and type designer hailing from Egypt and currently based in Dubai. Drawing inspiration from the rich tapestry of Cairo, my designs bridge modern trends and timeless traditions. My love for design was deepened through my experiences in branding. With my project ‘Boharat’, I’ve aimed to bring fresh perspectives to Arabic typography.

Gian Jonathan/Astri Nursalim, Kinetic

Gian Jonathan and Astri Nursalim creative path first crossed during high school to design their yearbook. 17 years on, the husband-and-wife team now helmed Kinetic Singapore as Creative Directors and Partners. Ardhira Putra

Through a VHS player, we enter the hyper-colored, funky universe of Ardhira Putra, a Singapore-based Indonesian artist who’s been turning his nostalgia into eye-popping works of art. He populates his illustrations and animations with characters, ad tags, and pop visuals inspired by the 1980s and 90s—all with a backdrop of swaying palm trees. Glenn Mccoy

Glen Mccoy  is an illustrator, animator, cartoonist and children’s book author. No other person has been honored by the National Cartoonist Society more than Glenn. Marina Willer is a graphic designer and filmmaker with an MA in Graphic Design from the Royal College of Art. Before joining Pentagram as a partner, she was head creative director for Wolff Olins in London. Team Thursday
